My uncle Julio Martinez introduced me to the sport. He was two times Olympian in the sport of weightliftig.

Hobbies/Interested outside of Weightlifting: play with my daughter, go to the beach, listen to music, rollerblading, off roading, singing, fishing, photography, and others. 

Most people don’t know that I'm an avid fisher, and that i wrote songs and poem.
