  • 2008 NYC Marathon, was a member of the LIVESTRONG team 
  • 2010 Boston Marathon, was a member of the LIVESTRONG team
  • 2010 Chicago Marathon, was honored and privileged to meet Ryan & Sara Hall and was invited to join their team, “The Hall Steps Foundation” 
Career Highlights
  • 2012 Ragnar Relay Series, ran the entire race consisting of 15 200-mile relays across the country 
  • 2012 & 2013, completed the Boston Athletic Association's Distance Medley, consisting of their prestigious 5K, 10K & Half Marathon, UnitedHealthcare Triple Crown consisting of the Providence and the Jamestown and Newport, RI ½  Marathons
  • 2013, completed the RunDisney Series consisting of the Walt Disney World Half Marathon, the Walt Disney World Marathon, the Walt Disney World Goofy Challenge (for running ½ and full back to back days), the Princes Half Marathon, the Tinkerbelle Half Marathon and the Coast to Coast Challenge 
  • Has run a total of 10 marathons, one pre-cancer and one for every year he's been cancer free
  • Finished 1st in the 55-meter hurdles in the League Championship and Western Mass Championships
  • Finished 1st in the 110-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles in the League Championships, Western Mass Championships and Junior Olympics Association Championships
  • Awarded the Winston R. MacDonald Track & Field Athlete of the Year in 2001
Fun Facts:
Colon Cancer Survivor (nine years of remission) ... barefoot runner ... a Ragnar Relay Ambassador and a Human Rights Campaign Athlete for Equality ... has had the honor of meeting Lance Armstrong ... thanks the Lance Armstrong Foundation for their support ... was inspired by watching Olympic greats such as Jenn Suhr, Dejan Gebremeskel, Shalane Flanagan and Kara Goucher compete next to his house at the Reggie Lewis Track & Field in Boston 

Fundraising Experience: 

Uses nearly every race, marathon, relay or activity as a way to give back by to the community and the causes that are closest to his heart ... he has been a member of multiple foundations and teams, including: The Hall Steps Foundation, Lance Armstrong Foundation, Harbor to the Bay Board Member, AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod, CRI, Camp Lightbulb, Holiday Heroes Foundation, Back on my Feet, NOH8 Campaign, Wounded Warriors and more ... to date, he has raised more than $250,000 for these organizations combined

Was inspired to run for Team USA because pre-cancer, he hoped to qualify for the 2004 U.S. Olympic Team in hurdles and steeplechase ... though sidelined by his illness, he has hopes of making the 2016 or 2020 U.S. Olympic Team ... he is also helping the Boston 2024 Bid Committee in hopes of bringing the Olympic and Paralympic Games to New England
