Robertson continued staking his claim as one of American's finest discus throwers with his runner-up finish at the 2008 Olympic Trials and a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team that will compete in Beijing. Robertson completed his senior year at Stanford with a runner-up finish at the 2007 NCAA Championships and a win at the AT&T USA Outdoor Championships. Following two years of placing third at the NCAA Championships, Robertson finally took the crown in 2005 when he won the discus with a throw of 61.70m/202-5... After spending his freshman and sophomore years at Southern Methodist University, Robertson transferred to Stanford when SMU decided to drop their track and field program...Robertson was the 2002 USA Junior National champion with a toss of 61.61m/202-1, besting the runner-up by more than a meter.
