MAJOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION: 2008 - U.S. Olympic Team Exhibition for Volleyball versus Brazil...FIVB World Grand Prix (Fourth Place)...Olympic Games (Silver Medal).

INTERNATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS: 2008 - Averaged 3.00 points versus Brazil while playing seven sets of a three-match exhibition series...Contributed 15 points with 10 kills and four aces in first-ever appearance with U.S. senior national team versus Brazil on June 11...Averaged 3.11 points, 2.39 kills, 0.56 blocks and 0.17 aces per set during the FIVB World Grand Prix preliminary round...Tallied 14 points versus Kazakhstan on June 21...Averaged 1.74 points mainly as a reserve player in sparking the USA to a silver medal at the Olympic Games, just her second major international competition...Tallied a .333 hitting efficiency with 1.52 kills per set...Added averages of 0.87 digs and 0.17 aces per set...During the Olympic Games quarterfinals and semifinals, compiled 15 kills on 23 errorless attacks without starting in any of the seven sets played...Totaled nine kills on 14 attacks versus Italy in the quarterfinals, followed by six kills on nine swings versus Cuba it the semifinals...Started the pool-opening match against Japan on Aug. 9, racking up 11 points with nine kills, a block and ace.

RECENT PRO: Played for Familia Chieri in the Italian Serie A League during the 2007-2008 season, tallying 306 points in 73 sets for one of the highest points per set ratios in the league…Ranked 12th in points per set at 4.19, while her 3.82 kill average was eighth-best in the league.

COLLEGE HIGHLIGHTS: Selected as a three-time American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American and the 2003 AVCA National Player of the Year…As a senior at University of Hawai’i in 2003, ranked second nationally in kills per game with 6.59 while adding averages of 2.99 digs and 0.62 aces per game…Hit .372 in her final collegiate season to help the Rainbow Wahine to the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Tournament semifinals for the second consecutive year…For her career, Averaged 5.91 kills per game, which ranked third-best in NCAA history at the time…Also contributed 1,440 digs, 194 aces and 291 blocks over 459 career games.
