How did you get involved in the sport?

I got involved in weightlifting about 4 years ago. I was doing Crossfit and did a Weightlifting meet and qualified for Junior nationals, where after I got invited to the Olympic training center for a camp, which started my career.

What is your favorite lift in competition?

My favorite lift in competition is the snatch. It is the most challenging and sets the tone for the rest of the competition.

What is your greatest accomplishment/ achievement of your athletic career?

My greatest accomplishments have been making team USA to compete internationally.

Who have been your biggest supporters in your athletic career?

My biggest supporters have been my family, I couldn’t do this without them. Also my coach Travis Mash, I wouldn’t be where I am without him.

What is the best part about competing?

The best part about competing is getting to chase those new PR’s down that you have been training so hard for.
