Born with cerebral palsy, which affects her motor skills
Despite this, she displayed an early interest in sports and participated in various athletic activities during her childhood
Starting with Tae Kwon Do, Guimaraes is a 2nd Degree Black Belt... Guimaraes is also a Para Indoor Rock Climbing Medalist, CP Soccer MVP, and World Cup Winner
Attended Cranford High School in New Jersey, where she made both soccer and Varsity track teams

Was also a CP Soccer Women's World Cup Winner and MVP for the 2022 CP Soccer World Cup held in Salou, Spain, as part of the first-ever team fielded by US Soccer

Has been an advocate for disability sports and often shares her journey to inspire others

Enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and she is passionate about promoting inclusivity in sports

Is the proud owner of a tripod rescue that serves as a service animal to support her in everyday activities

Outside of athletics, she is pursuing a degree in exercise physiology

A two-time published author, she is also working on her third book which is still in development
