PERSONAL
A snowboarding prodigy in his own right, Greg Bretz has been on a snowboard from the age of 5 and competing by the time he was 10. The youthful elite shook up the scene during the 2008 season, busting out podium finishes and wins on the World Cup and Grand Prix circuit to stomp out his spot with the U.S. Snowboarding squad.
FIRST TRACKS
Bretz remembers being frustrated a lot when he took his first turns at June Mountain in California at the age of 5. His first snowboard, which was from his father who worked for lift maintenance at Mammoth Mountain, seemed to fit him better than a pair of skis ever could so he stuck with it and was competing by the time he was 11.
I AM
Skating, wake surfing, anything to have fun. He considers his hidden talent to be sweet talking girls. He listens to the Beatles and a lot of classic stuff, and rides snowmobiles a lot.
