How did you get involved? One of my Football coaches saw me doing power cleans when I was training. He told me that people compete in lifts like the ones I was doing and brought me down to a Weightlifting gym.

Education: Bachelors of Science, Queens College ’11- Physical Education Major

Personal Goals:  To always be improving and reach my highest potential in weightlifting. All that translates into becoming an Olympian and medaling at the Olympic and/or World Championships.

Hobbies/Interested outside of Weightlifting:  Reading, working with Crossfits

Most people don’t know that…. My great grandfather was an Olympian in gymnastics and competed at the 1928 Olympic Games, representing Yugoslavia (Their team won bronze that year).
