In his own words: Curling means everything to me. It was a way to connect with my Dad before he passed in 2005 with cancer. I think my starting young sparked a flame in me that still burns today. Broomstones is basically my second home because of how much time I spend there and the many people that I have been lucky enough to meet. Almost all of my close friends curl and they would not be in my life without otherwise. Every time I step onto the ice I can feel him with me and that will always keep me coming back.
