When did you start boxing and why: My family was a huge influence to me and such, as watching my two older brothers be successful and seeing their hard work and dedication pay off with their victories. I was eager and curious to try it out and that is why I joined this sport.
What do you think is your greatest asset in the ring: My jab and defensive technique.
If you weren’t boxing, what would you be doing? I would be in gymnastics competitions, because it is also a sport that I have been passionate about since I was very young.
Who has been your biggest inspiration and why: Floyd Mayweather Jr. motivates me to chase my dreams because despite not having his father or his mother next to him, he didn’t quit the sport. He preserved and went to the Olympics and became not only the “pound-for-pound” fighter, but now known as one of the greatest and a smart business man.
What motivates you the most: What motivates me the most is that I come from a very humble and poor family background, and all this hard work is dedicated to getting my family into a comfortable-living life. Despite not having a gym and having to train at home, in my driveway, gives me more hunger to keep pushing myself towards my goals and dreams.
What are five things that most people don’t know about you: 1. I love animals. 2. I was a competitive gymnast for many years. 3. I like to volunteer and help out in the community. 4. I love hanging out with my family. 5. I love makeup and fashion.
