• In 2016, became the first active female student-athlete from the University of Oregon to qualify for the Olympic Games in track and field
• Prior to transferring to the University of Oregon, attended College of the Sequoias, where she won the California Junior College championships in the 200- and 400-meter events
• Three-time high school state champion
• As a high school senior, ranked in the top 10 nationally in the 200, 300 and 400 indoor events.
