Chris Langton is the younger brother of world champion bobsledder Steve Langton. He played lacrosse for Cornell University, where he graduated with a B.A. before following in his brother's footsteps as a bobsledder. Just weeks into his career, Langton was selected for the national team.
"I expected it to be similar to the thrill one gets from a roller coaster ride, but it was more more exciting," Langton said about his first ride in a sled.
He is one of three sons to Anne and Steve Langton. He still enjoys playing lacrosse and spends time fishing and boating during the summer months.
