Dodds

Chris Dodds was a competitive baseball and soccer player until his vision loss made the sport impossible to track the ball. Although he had played goalball previously, it wasn't until he started losing his vision that Goalball became his passion. Since then, Dodds has been a mainstay of several national Goalball teams and has earned many accolades, including a bronze medal with Team USA at the 2004 Paralympic Games. Dodds was also a member of the 2008 U.S. team that competed in Bejiing, China.

When not playing goalball, Dodds is a student at Utah State University and aspires to work with blind and visually impaired people following graduation. In his free time, Dodds serves as a mentor and role model for blind and visually impaired youth who live in Utah. He is married to a former goalball player, Brandy Dodds, and has a three-year-old daughter.

• 2004: Fourth place, USABA National Goalball Championships

• 2000: Gold medal, USABA National Youth Goalball Championships
