Brad Stewart worked at the Utah Olympic Park as a tour guide and wanted to try the sport of skeleton since he got a discount on the introductory camp. Stewart's background in soccer and alpine ski racing throughout college made him a natural fit for the sport of skeleton.
Stewart has a B.S from Marquette University in Marketing and Information Technology. He is married to Kimber Gabryszak, a women's skeleton national team member, and they own a giant schnauzer-standard poodle, Jean Luc.
