  • Hendricks started playing soccer when he was 3 years old. While playing for his club team in 2008, he suffered a concussion. As a result, he was given a CT scan that revealed he had brain tumors. He has paralysis on the left side of his body as a result of complications from a brain biopsy that created two strokes and a brain hemorrhage when he was a 13-year-old. After being called up in 2011, he has won a bronze medal at the 2012 BT Paralympic World Cup in Manchester, England, and went on to participate at 2012 Summer Paralympics. Following the London 2012 Paralympic Games, he has continued to be called up to the national team, including at the 2016 Pre Paralympic Tournament in Salou, Spain
