Favorite taekwondo athlete is Steven Lopez....favorite non-taekwondo athlete is Connor McGregor...his biggest inspiration is MMA fighter Connor McGregor whose story of hard work and dedication inspires him that what you want in life pays off if you put in the time...favorite foods are Mexican, sushi and Thai food...favorite drink is Coke or mineral water...enjoys reading non-fiction books...favorite TV shows are "Teen Wolf" and MMA fights...enjoys watching movies with suspense...listens to all kinds of music from alternative rock to rap...his proudest moment in taekwondo was winning the gold medal at the U.S. National Championships and representing the USA at the Pan American Cadet and Junior Championships in Costa Rica...favorite quotes are those from MMA fighter Connor McGregor that motivate him to keep training and follow his dream: "Excellence is not a skill. Did you Know?: Aside from practicing taekwondo, Adrian is also part of the Chicago Park District training team. He has been swimming the same amount of time he's been practicing taekwondo (8 years), winning medals in the freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke in city championships. Swimming relaxes him and he is hoping to make the swim team in the fall at school. As for taekwondo, he has been honored to participate in many local, national and international tournaments. He is currently part of the Illinois State Team, the USAT National Team and hopes to claim a spot on the AAU National Team this year. Aside from training, he is dedicated to school and always trying to go above and beyond. Enjoys listening to music and hanging out with older brother Julian.
