Biographical Information

Madison Fulford grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she competed in basketball, and track and field in high school. Fulford attended NCAA Division II Limestone University (Gaffney, South Carolina), where she starred on the track and field team, finishing college as a conference champion in javelin, 400-meter hurdles and indoor high jump.

Fulford joined the U.S. Air Force after college, serving as a mental health counselor where she managed the neuropsychological deployment program and prepared personnel for high-stakes missions. In 2022, while stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio she picked up competitive flag football in an intramural league. A year later, Fulford made the U.S. Women’s Flag Football Team and, in 2024, led the team in receiving yards and touchdowns at the world championships as the U.S. won its third consecutive gold medal.

Fulford founded her own company, Mad Skills Training, in 2023, a youth flag football skills development program built around her belief that girls deserve more women to turn to for training. Fulford noted: “Through them, I’ve discovered a new passion for coaching and teaching. I want girls to have more women they can turn to for training. It’s all about representation.”
