Biographical Information

Kendra Meredith grew up in Boyds, Maryland, where she excelled in basketball and track and field in the sprints and jumps.

Meredith attended NCAA Division II Southern Connecticut State University to play basketball before transferring to NCAA Division III Gettysburg College to finish her college career. During her senior year at Gettysburg, Meredith was a dual-sport athlete, leading the women’s basketball team to a conference title and an NCAA DIII tournament appearance and, in track and field, winning a conference title in the long jump and earning all-region recognition.

After college, she found flag football when a friend introduced her to a coed league in Rockville, Maryland, called RFFL. Montgomery started coaching  the girls’ flag football team at her alma mater, Northwest High School in Germantown, and in 2026, Meredith made the U.S. national team and made her international debut at the world championships later that year, where the U.S. won a silver medal.

Meredith was the first in her family to graduate from college, earning a degree in women, gender and sexuality studies from Gettysburg College. She considers her bachelor's degree her most prized possession. After college, Meredith became a Montgomery County Police Officer before transitioning to a Healthcare Fraud Investigator at Blue Cross Blue Shield.
